Hi, I'm Cillian, a designer, researcher and educator based in Dublin.

My work ranges from traditional architectural design and community engagement to creation of architecture as media and teaching architecture.

A key theme across my work is the idea of a more collaborative approach to design, the concept of architect as facilitator of a collaborative process.

I am a graduate of TU Dublin, holding a 1st class honors degree from the School of Architecture. As part of my studies, I was the recipient of the Richard Morrison Scholarship and Mont Kavanagh Award. I also hold a Masters degree in Architecture, from the same institution. My masters research explored how architecture is shared, produced, and interacted with as content online.

The past three years I have been  working in  the School of Architecture, Building and Environment, TU Dublin (Technological University Dublin). I teach in Vertical Studio 4, Landscape & Community studio, a studio focused on social and built responses to climate emergency. I have also thought a technology module about critical AI workflow. I also lead a research Elective called ‘Architecture as Content’. This Elective focuses on disseminating the ongoing climate focused work and events that happens in and beyond TU Dublin as accessible online content and podcast.
